“How To Be A Bold Mother”

Lead Pastor, Stephen Macaluso

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.            Ephesians 2:10

4 Principles to engage in Motherhood

(or anything) boldly:

#1.  Remember:  You are loved

            by God

As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you                 Isaiah 66:13

“For the mountains may depart and the hills disappear, but even then I will remain loyal to you.  My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.            Isaiah 54:10 (NLT)

.

Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.   Romans 8:39 (NLT)

#2.  Remember:  Value people through

            appreciation

Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.                 Proverbs 12:25 (NLT)

Her children rise up and call her blessed; and her husband also praises her.           Proverbs 31:28 (NLT)

#3.  Remember:  “Wonder Woman” &

“Superman” are fictional characters

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you; Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.  Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.           Romans 12:3-5

#4.  Remember:  Focus on the

            ultimate reward

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.            Ephesians 2:10

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.  This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.  Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Proverbs 3:7-10
