So here’s what
I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking –around
life—and place it before God as an offering. Romans 12:1 (Message)
1. Time for reflection
But the fruit
of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22, 23a
Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects
everything you do. Proverbs
4:23 (NLT)
2. Time
for relationships
Do for others as you would like them to do for you. Luke 6:31
(NLT)
When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide.
Instead, be humble and give more honor to
others than to yourselves. Do not be
interested only in your own life, but be interested in the lives of others. Philippians
2:3, 4 (NCV)
Every time I think of you, I thank my God. Philippians
1:3 (CEV)
3. Time for rest
In your anger
do not sin; when you are in your beds search your heart and be silent. Psalm 4:4
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm
4:8
The Lord came to us in the past saying: “I have loved you
with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work
your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t
you know He enjoys giving rest to those He loves? Psalm 127:2 (Message)
