Love / Care Ministry
Mission Statement
Through the Love/Care Ministry, We will strive to recognize the needs within the Church and the Community by:
- Meeting the physical needs of the Church with a personal touch.
- Meeting the emotional needs of the Church with support and encouragement
- An outreach to the community showing the love of Christ with acts of kindness
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Meal Provider - Call people to provide meals
- Flowers & Cards - Get well, births, encouragement & condolences
- Food Pantry - Replenishing food pantry
- Crisis Care - Fire, floods, unexpected crisis
- Random Acts - Christmas Wrap @ K-mart, Thanksgiving Baskets, Donations to the community @ the holidays
- Helping Hands - moving someone, painting, building, cleaning, etc.
Who can join this ministry team?
Anybody who feels called to lend a helping hand to those in need.
What can I offer?
Everyone has gifts and abilities to offer, Let us know what your gifts and abilities are and we'll find a place for you on our team.
When and where does the team meet?
We meet @ 9a in the church, room # 2 once a month.
How do I get involved?
Simply fill out a community Card or contact any Love Care member.
